Theresa Muldrow

Teresa Muldrow (Tree), a mother and grandmother on long term disability, is with Women of Color in the Global Women’s Strike and the Disability Rights Group at the Crossroads Women’s Center. Tree is active in abolition and prisoner rights movements and in support of family members who are in prison. She works tirelessly to advocate for the expanded Child Tax Credit, including in the low-income senior housing block where she lives as many elders are caring for grandchildren and stand to gain from the CTC and in particular from an expansion of the EITC.  She will be speaking about being both a caregiver and a care receiver and about her working relationship with her former care worker, Philipa Laster who is also speaking at the conference.
